K&N YA-6001 High-Performance Washable Air Filter for Yamaha YZF-R6

The K&N YA-6001 air filter is engineered to enhance airflow and optimize engine performance for Yamaha YZF-R6 motorcycles from 1999 to 2008. Featuring pleated media, this filter provides a large filtration surface area, which extends service intervals and maintains consistent engine protection. Multi-layer woven cotton gauze media ensures excellent filtration efficiency, trapping dirt and debris while allowing maximum airflow for improved throttle response and power output. The filter fits directly into the OEM airbox, utilizing an application-specific sealing bead for a secure and precise fit, eliminating the need for fuel management modifications in most cases. Made in the USA for over 40 years, this filter is washable and reusable, pre-oiled, and ready to install, offering an economical and environmentally friendly alternative to disposable filters. Its durable construction and superior filtration capabilities make it an ideal upgrade for street riders seeking increased performance and reliable air filtration. Maintenance is simple—just wash, re-oil, and reinstall to keep your motorcycle running at peak efficiency.
